The snooker world ranking system is an official list that ranks players by their recent performance. It is managed by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association. This listing will be updated for each ranking series. In order to be eligible to play on the World Snooker Tour, a player must have a current snooker world ranking. Based on their performance in tournaments and ranking, players are seeded.
