The Billiard Congress of America is a national organization that promotes billiards and organizes pool players. It has a headquarters in Broomfield Colorado and a presence in Atlanta Georgia. BCA is involved with all aspects of the sport. They have been instrumental in promoting snooker as well as 3-Cushion.
BCA is also an governing body responsible for overseeing and providing input to the rules and specifications of tournaments and games. BCA has a significant role in the sanctioning of tournaments. It also offers education resources and leadership opportunities that promote the game and pool.
