Bitmasters released the video game Pool Champion. The game is available for Windows. It's about a pool player, who has to take the balls and put them into the right positions and hit them on the table, using only the cues on his or her pool stick.
Two world-class players play in the game, Shane Van Boening & Thorsten Hohmann. Both are German and are considered some of the top players in the game. Both were defeated in matches.
Shane Van Boening saw his chance to win the World Pool Championship as closing in on him last year. He had been winning the single-elimination tournament and was beginning to wonder if it was time for him to retire. He was soon able make a comeback. He was able to force the tiebreaker in the second set after falling behind 7-6.
New York was host to the tournament, and it was a fantastic experience for the spectators of 20 million Americans. The match was the most watched pool game in US history. It wasn't just about the game. There was a trickster involved. There was a lot of breaking the rules.

Chris Dawson began to play at the age of five. At 13 he won his very first 48-player tournament. After seeing "The Color of Money" on TV, Dawson fell in love and developed a passion. As he continued to play and improve, he became a national and international player. He is now the Australian pool captain.
He is a Mosconi Cup player and has won multiple Mosconi Cup champions. His other titles include DCC 10-Ball Challenge, U.S. Open 8 Ball Championships, and U.S. Open 10-Ball Championships.
He also taught Stephen Baldwin and James Tolkan. He is also a frequent guest on news programs and TV shows. He was also inducted into the American Poolplayers Association (APA) Hall of Fame.
He is also a member of the WPBA. He won the United States Open as well as the Professional Pool Players Association (PPPA) World Open.
He has won numerous national and regional tournaments. For many years, he has been a regular on the New York straight pool scene.

He has played with many celebrities such as Jason Gedrick (and Paul Sorvino). He's also taught some of the top names in pool.
He was only a teenager when the game was introduced to him, but he had won a junior state championship. He participated in local events and joined a billiards club at North Texas.
He enjoys teaching lessons when he isn't competing in international and national events. He is a tireless promoter of pool and loves to play it.
He is one among the best young players in the world. He hopes to one day dominate the game for many years to come.
