snooker rules uk

Know the rules and regulations before you start playing pool. Be familiar with the 8-ball rule, Rotation, Double tapping and Assigning stripes or solids. This will make your game more enjoyable and fun for everyone. This will allow you to win.

8-ball

Eight-ball pool rules differ from the rules for professional pool games. The 8-ball Pool Rules are for the average player. The rules don't require you to learn fifteen pages of complicated rules to play a game. They will instead help you to understand the basics of pool.

Color-based racking is not allowed in the eight-ball game. The 8 ball must be the first of the three middle balls in this game. Most people put the one infront. Also, the rules state that you must not make a ball wrongly to lose a turn. A shot is not allowed to be called straight in or touched by rails.

Double tap

Double tapping in bar pool rules refers to a player's ability to double tap on an object ball by positioning the cue ball close to the object ball and aiming at it. A cueball is within an inch of an object ball if it is less than 12 inch. It is also called "sharking".

Assigning solids or strips

A common way to define the style of a game is to assign solids and stripes to bar pool rules. Solids and stripes are two variations of eight-ball pool games. In a game of 8 ball, players use a cue ball to call most aspects of a shot.

The official pool rules also prohibit hitting the opponent's object ball first. The player with the striped ball in his pocket is out of turn. Also, a double hit occurs when the cue stick hits the cue ball twice in one stroke. This is called a foul.

Etiquette

There are many different rules for playing pool at bars. Every bar has a different set of rules so be sure to ask before you start playing. You might also ask about any special rules in effect for the next games. It's important to follow the rules and respect them if there are. Everyone can still have fun with the game and not do any damage.

It is important that you remember that WPA's "official rules" don't include "dirty swimming pools." Smart pool is a shot that isn't dirty. However, some people consider defensive shots dirty. People also view shots that are deliberately scratched as unethical.
