Bumper Pool – A Pool Game with Bumper Bumpers

snooker billiards and pool

Billiards players must sink five balls into the opponent's pocket to win a bumper pool. Although this game shares many similarities with other billiards, the rules are somewhat more straightforward. You don't have to use a cueball. Instead, you strike object balls directly with the cue. Also, you don't necessarily need to have a lot of room for the table. Bumper tables are compact and can be stored in your garage. Bumper pool tables require only about one-third the space of a regular pool table.

The first step in playing bumper pool is to select the right color balls. After that, players must select a color that matches their colored bumpers. Place the red balls on the side of the bumpers. These will be slightly smaller than the standard American 2 1/4 inch pool balls.

The bumper pool has no break shot. You can bank your shot into the hole, or into the bole if you're looking to make a great shot. You still have to keep your balls.

You must aim your spotted balls into the other end pocket of bumper pool. The spottedball is a special, colored ball with a dot on it. You'll get a credit for a smooth shot if you find this one in your pocket.

A cue ball is not required for this game. You use a shorter stick instead. A sturdy steel tip is essential. These sticks are approximately 42 inches long. This is a great size for home use.

There are only twelve bumpers in a bumper pool. Each has a designated purpose. Some can slow down your opponent's pace, while others will help your opponent to knock out your ball. A good bumper can be helpful in getting your opponent's balls in tight places.

Bumper pool can also be played in teams of two to four players. In the first few turns you will have to make the spotted ball go in the other pocket. After that, you will continue to play with the first ball.

To get started, you can check out your local dive shop to see what kind of bumper pool table they have. Most likely they will be able to recommend a pool table. There are many options, from the more traditional rectangular shapes to the more unusual octagon-shaped ones. These rules are very simple but you should be aware of a few things before you begin.

The most important rule in bumper pool is to aim a solid-coloured ball at the other end of the table. This rule is both the most simple and the most fun.

Playing bumper pool with friends and family is a great way. It's fun, and it can help you to improve your skills.
